Concientizaci\u00f3n sobre el lavado de manos\u2026<\/h3>\n

La Semana Nacional de Concientizaci\u00f3n sobre el Lavado de Manos es la primera semana de diciembre. El sencillo programa "L\u00e1vate las manos" es una idea original del Especialista en Prevenci\u00f3n de Infecciones,\u00a0Dr. Will Sawyer<\/a>. El programa del Dr. Sawyer utiliza la Estrategia de Desviaci\u00f3n Positiva como m\u00e9todo para ense\u00f1ar a los ni\u00f1os las normas b\u00e1sicas sobre el lavado de manos.<\/p>\n

Todas las manos importan<\/h3>\n

El programa promueve cuatro principios para la concienciaci\u00f3n sobre el lavado de manos, que se han convertido en un referente de buenas pr\u00e1cticas para todos, no solo para los ni\u00f1os. \u00a1Al fin y al cabo, todas las manos importan, grandes y peque\u00f1as!<\/p>\n

Al incorporar los 4 principios a las acciones cotidianas, especialmente en las escuelas y los lugares p\u00fablicos, la comunidad en su conjunto puede evitar o reducir eficazmente las enfermedades respiratorias y gastrointestinales, lo cual es fundamental.<\/p>\n

Tenemos principios<\/h3>\n

Los cuatro sencillos principios para concienciar sobre el lavado de manos han sido avalados por la Asociaci\u00f3n M\u00e9dica Estadounidense y la Academia Estadounidense de M\u00e9dicos de Familia.<\/p>\n

Mant\u00e9n la sencillez y sigue estos 4 pasos. Contribuye a reducir eficazmente el n\u00famero de brotes de enfermedades infecciosas prevenibles esta temporada.<\/p>\n

  1. L\u00e1vese las manos cuando est\u00e9n sucias y antes de comer.<\/li>\n
  2. No tosa en sus manos.<\/li>\n
  3. No estornudes en tus manos.<\/li>\n
  4. Evite meterse los dedos en los ojos, la nariz o la boca.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    La advertencia<\/h3>\n

    La advertencia es #4. Nunca te metas los dedos en los ojos, la nariz ni la boca. La prevenci\u00f3n primaria de infecciones es tan simple como mantener los dedos alejados de la cara, los ojos, la nariz y la boca, es decir, las mucosas.<\/p>\n

    De hecho, estas membranas imitan las caracter\u00edsticas de una placa de Petri, el entorno perfecto para el crecimiento, y en particular para el crecimiento de enfermedades infecciosas.<\/p>\n

    Vivamos sin pandemia<\/h3>\n

    El simple acto de mantener las manos sucias alejadas de los ojos, la nariz y la boca se traduce en un mundo que podr\u00eda estar libre de pandemias para siempre. Imag\u00ednese a todas las personas viviendo sin enfermedades infecciosas prevenibles.<\/p>\n

      Recuerda que, como en muchas cosas en la vida, las soluciones m\u00e1s sencillas pueden resolver los problemas m\u00e1s complejos. Siguiendo estos sencillos pasos, es posible erradicar la hepatitis A, el SARM, la gripe, los s\u00edndromes gripales, la faringitis estreptoc\u00f3cica, la E. coli y otras enfermedades infecciosas f\u00e1cilmente prevenibles.<\/p>\n
